We are in the spiritual environment of Haridwar near the banks of the Ganges River. In India, the Ganges River is considered to be the most holiest river because of its healing and purifying waters.
I read once in an Indian text that your mind should be pure like the Ganges. If you are a Seeker of the Truth your mind will become pure and holy. If your mind is pure like the Ganges, then your mind will be as a rainbow - colorful, joyful, ecstatic, blissful and happy.
So while you bathe in the Ganges, think that your mind is being healed, purified, and being filled with happiness and bliss.
Consider this too, that even though you are wearing clothes, your true nature is really naked, like a blue sky. When we look up the sky we think it has some type of shape and color, but in reality, the sky is naked: formless, shapeless, and bodiless. We aren’t the clothes we wear, or the body we have. Our true Self is infinite like a blue sky.
When you meditate, you are really seeking your true nature. When you see your self like a blue sky in meditation, it means you are expanding. Soul is infinite. You are infinite.
Soul is hidden from us even though it is our nature. Like a tiny seed, a big tree is hidden inside. So imagine your small body like this tiny seed, and within you is a huge tree full of bliss, joy, ecstasy and happiness. That is who you are.
In essence soul is formless, shapeless, bodiless and infinite like a blue sky. But to realize soul we see our mind as pure, like the Ganges, and see our mind as a rainbow.
Once the mind is happy it will cooperate with you.
Meditate everywhere while you are here. Expand, expand, and expand. This spiritual experience is a pilgrimage for your body and soul. Try to see the possibilities within your self to become like a blue sky. Search your self and realize that the true essence of who you are is naked, infinite, and pure.
